COY and IOY Programs
In the District of California the Couple of the Year and Individual of the Year programs are encouraged at
the Chapter level. These recognition programs are continued at the District level because of their importance.
All Couple of the Year and Individual of the Year participants, whether they are involved in the competition or not, are recognized
by this District for their contribution to the Family and Team atmosphere in GWRRA.
To facilitate the use of these programs by chapters in California, this page is provided for assistance.
The Guidelines for the GWRRA Couple of the Year program are available on the web at
http://www.gwrra.org/regional/med/coy/index/html There are no National or Region guidelines for the Individual of the Year program. You will find the requirements
for participating in the IOY program through this page. The requirements for participating in the COY program are also
available through this page.
Important Dates:
COY and IOY Nomination paperwork must be delivered to the District COY-IOY Coordinator by:
April 30, 2007
COY and IOY Resumes must be delivered to the District COY-IOY Coordinator by:
July 15, 2007
Chapter Directors are responsible for all of this paperwork being properly completed
and delivered to the District COY-IOY Coordinators. Chapter Directors or their designees must be available to judge in the
COY and IOY selection on Friday evening, August 31, 2007 at approximately 5:00 PM.
